Ceremony Venues

Nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland, 3000 feet above sea level and surrounded by 20,000 hectares of lush subtropical rainforest, O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat offers breathtaking mountain scenery and spectacular sunsets all year long. With the expansion of our facilities in recent times, weddings on the mountain have become increasingly popular.

Moonlight Crag

Walk down the aisle of a rainforest tunnel and step out to a magic cliff-top lookout. With stunning views to the majestic Lost World and western sunset; Moonlight Crag is a superb location for the intimate ceremony.

Luke's Bluff

Word’s cannot capture the beauty of this spectacular scenic location known to locals
as Luke’s Bluff. Located on top of a magnificent sheer cliff-face, the lookout offers
panoramic views of the McPherson and Great Dividing Ranges.

 

St Joeseph's Church

This small historical church was built in 1858 and was moved to O’Reilly’s in 1951. Previously owned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese, the church is a quaint ceremony venue to hold your catholic wedding.

Hidden Gully

Imagine walking down an aisle with a difference on your special day – a ‘green’ aisle surrounded by towering rainforest and leading to an intimate rainforest clearing with your family and friends. O’Reilly’s new ‘Hidden Gully’ is a magical venue perfect for saying your ‘I do’s’. Nestled in secluded rainforest setting, it offers the opportunity to be at one with nature on your special day.

The Lost World Conference Centre

Part of the Mountain Villas project, the Lost World Conference Centre features 2 function rooms (can combine to 1 large room), bar and terrace with breathtaking views over the infinity pool to the McPherson Ranges and Great Dividing Range to the west. The spectacular setting provides the perfect location to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Canungra Valley Vineyards

From intimate rooms and the vintage-inspired ballroom to the large barrel-lined wine cellar, the vineyard provides a unique venue for your special event offering natural beauty, historic splendour and intimate elegance. With an old world charm, the vineyard is the perfect backdrop for weddings.

 

Mountain View Room

This is a more personal space for intimate wedding groups. Located above the dining room, This room has plenty of natural light and great views to the western ranges.

Outdoor Pavilion

This is a spacious outdoor area which is fully covered and features clear plastic weather protectors in the event of rain or wind. The pavilion is ideal as an informal space for larger wedding groups.
