O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat values your privacy. As part of our commitment to the protection of your rights under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001 we detail here an explanation of our information handling practices.
National Park Pty Ltd is a registered private company that owns and operates O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat and the Mountain Cafe and Gifts. National Park Pty Ltd is also a major stakeholder in O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards Pty Ltd.
This privacy policy applies to National Park Pty Ltd and Canungra Valley Vineyard Pty Ltd as a related company and the handling of personal information for these entities. This includes the handling of personal information by O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, Mountain Cafe and Gifts, and O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards.
For the purposes of this privacy policy these owners, companies and businesses are referred to as O'Reilly's.
Visitors to our Guesthouse, Cafe or Vineyard and other individuals may provide information to O'Reilly's. O'Reilly's will only collect information from you when you complete any of our contact forms or through the placing of a reservation. Information that we may collect may include, but is not limited to, your name and email address, your postal and/or street address, country of residence, postcode, telephone, facsimile, your organisation's name and its street and/or postal address and telephone, facsimile and web address.
O'Reilly's will not collect sensitive information about you such as race, political beliefs, religion or health (however this may be required where we are providing specialised services such as access requirements for disabilities or diet requirements for religious or cultural purposes).
This information will be recorded by the business to which it is given and updated when additional information is supplied or upon request from you.
We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing services to our current, past and potential customers. We use the personal information collected to assist in making your experience with O'Reilly's a satisfying one. Your personal information may also be used by O'Reilly's to notify you about new products, services, offers and to update information from time to time. Information is also collected to establish and maintain proper business records.
All personal information collected by O'Reilly's is only made available to those authorised individuals who need to handle that information for the purposes outlined in this policy. In some cases personal information may be disclosed outside O'Reilly's (for example we may disclose personal information to third parties whom O'Reilly's engages to carry out specialised functions such as mailing houses and printing companies). In such cases we will require an undertaking from such persons to comply with the National Privacy Principles and to not use the personal information for any purpose beyond the scope of our contract with them.
Personal information may also be disclosed to third parties only for the purpose of completing your transaction with us (for example your credit card provider), providing the services you have requested (for example booking a tour/transfer for you) and for the purposes of associated administration.
O'Reilly's will also disclose personal information when required by law and may disclose it when reasonably necessary to assist an enforcement body or to lessen or prevent a threat to individual or public health or safety.
O'Reilly's will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information collected from you is accurate, complete and current, that such information is both physically and technologically secure and that any information no longer required for any purposes by O'Reilly's is destroyed or permanently deleted.

If you are of the view the personal information about you is not accurate, complete or up to date, please provide our Privacy Officer with your request for correction. Any requests for correction will be dealt with promptly.
