O'Reilly's hosts numerous weekend and week-long special interest programs throughout the year, offered especially for our inhouse guests. They cover an extensive range of topics…
Trekabout Photography Workshops
Trekabout Photography Workshops offer personalised photographic tuition at O'Reilly's, surrounded by the stunning World Heritage listed Lamington National Park. They offer either one or two day (weekend) workshops, mostly 'in-the-field' but also incorporate some digital post-processing and Photoshop tuition, in a classroom setting. All types of photography levels are catered for, whether using an SLR or compact camera (digital or film).
Michael Snedic and Mark Rayner have accrued many years of experience between them and are widely published. They are both professional photographers, passionate about their craft, good communicators and experienced tutors. With group numbers limited and two tutors at every workshop, you will be guaranteed some personalised tutoring as well as plenty of group sessions.

Autumn Birdwatching
8th - 13th March, 2009
The comfortable conditions in autumn make for pleasant outings as we explore the rainforests, eucalypt forests and surrounding valleys and lagoons of this famous birding area. We will be running several of the same trips that take place in Bird Week, as well as trying a few different places and strategies, and the lower numbers of birdwatchers present will allow for personalised attention. Autumn Birdwatching is also a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Guesthouse and surrounds before Bird Week in November. Registration fee applies.
