Since O'Reilly's opened its doors for Easter 1926, our guided activities (now called our 'Discovery Program') have been a real highlight for our guests. The program is also an integral part of O'Reilly's commitment to sharing knowledge and awareness of World Heritage Lamington National Park and its unique inhabitants. Guests regularly comment on how amazed they are by how much they see and learn when they choose to join one of our Discovery guides. We show you things you would never have found on your own, and elaborate on these findings with fascinating insights into the intricacies of the rainforest ecosystem.
We invite you to join our activities during your stay. Tours and destinations change daily but as sure as the sun rises each morning, there's a full program of interpretive rainforest walks, guided 4WD bus excursions, adventure activities and evening tours scheduled every single day of the year.

Bird Walks
Early morning is the best time for viewing the magnificent bird life around the Guesthouse. Join this guided tour for a gentle stroll before breakfast.
O'Reilly's Treetop Walk
The first of its kind in the world, the famous Treetop Walk provides a bird's eye view of the rainforest canopy… The highest observation deck is 30 metres (110 feet) above the ground. Read more about our Treetop Walk here.

Full or half day walks with our nature guides are a feature of a stay at O'Reilly's. You'll discover waterfalls, amazing views and fascinating wildlife. Two short tracks are graded for wheelchair and pram access.
4WD Bus Excursions
Enjoy a guided 4WD bus tour with our expert nature guides, plus a cup of billy tea and some fresh damper, as they take you to magnificent scenic lookout each day.
Flying Fox
Whiz across picturesque Morans Creek on the supervised Flying Fox ... 25 metres above the ground! Strapped in your safety harness, you'll fly along a cable for 190 metres of exhilaration!
Giant Swing
From a height of 10m above ground level, you'll have breath-taking views of the Kerry Valley ... just before you free fall towards the ground and launch into a giant pendulum swing action!
Leap of Faith
Break the fear barrier! Perched on a small platform atop a 10m pole, you'll take a 'leap of faith' as you jump from the platform to grab a ball hanging out in front of you. Don't worry - your harness does all the hard work!
Guided Evening Walks
The evenings at O'Reilly's are magic. Guided spotlighting walks explore the world of glow worms, pademelons, possums and gliders.
Audio-visual presentations
Audio-visual presentations bring to life the O'Reilly's pioneering days, the Stinson rescue, and breathtaking pictures of life in the rainforest.
Pool and Spa Relaxation Area
Energise in our spa, heated plunge pool, sauna or hot-tub ... a great way to relax after a long walk.
Vineyard
Visit the O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard's gracefully restored 19th century homestead to try the local award-winning wine, the fine fare, and platypus viewing at the creek. Stop in for a wine tasting, a delicious lunch on the verandah, or enjoy a picnic down by the creek under the shade of the Silky Oaks.
