Since O'Reilly's opened its doors for Easter 1926, our guided activities (now called our 'Discovery Program') have been a real highlight for our guests. The program is also an integral part of O'Reilly's commitment to sharing knowledge and awareness of World Heritage Lamington National Park and its unique inhabitants. Guests regularly comment on how amazed they are by how much they see and learn when they choose to join one of our Discovery guides. We show you things you would never have found on your own, and elaborate on these findings with fascinating insights into the intricacies of the rainforest ecosystem.
We invite you to join our activities during your stay. Tours and destinations change daily but as sure as the sun rises each morning, there's a full program of interpretive rainforest walks, guided 4WD bus excursions, adventure activities and evening tours scheduled every single day of the year.

Bird Walks
Early morning is the best time for viewing the magnificent bird life around the Guesthouse. Join this guided tour for a gentle stroll before breakfast.

Full or half day walks with our nature guides are a feature of a stay at O'Reilly's. You'll discover waterfalls, amazing views and fascinating wildlife. Two short tracks are accessible by wheelchairs and prams with assistance.
4WD Bus Excursions
Enjoy a guided 4WD bus tour with our expert nature guides, plus a cup of billy tea and some fresh damper, as they take you to magnificent scenic lookout each day.
Flying Fox
Whiz across picturesque Morans Creek on the supervised Flying Fox ... 25 metres above the ground! Strapped in your safety harness, you'll fly along a cable for 190 metres of exhilaration!
Giant Swing
From a height of 10m above ground level, you'll have breath-taking views of the Kerry Valley ... just before you free fall towards the ground and launch into a giant pendulum swing action!
Guided Evening Walks
The evenings at O'Reilly's are magic. Guided spotlighting walks explore the world of glow worms, pademelons, possums and gliders.
Audio-visual presentations
Audio-visual presentations bring to life the O'Reilly's pioneering days, the Stinson rescue, and breathtaking pictures of life in the rainforest.
Segway Tours
Tours run every Sunday at 9:30am, 12:00pm and 2:30pm - Bookings essential, minimum numbers apply
Segway Solar Tours is Australia's first and only Segway Guided Tour that is surrounded by a World Heritage Listed National Park. Segway Solar Tours offer a private guided tour gliding effortlessly through the rainforest aboard a Segway x2 in perfect harmony with your surroundings. Virtually silent and with zero emissions, you cannot help but be absorbed into the rainforest. Tour through rainforest, an old dairy farm, through a creek crossing, back into rainforest and then into a Eucalypt forest for some spectacular views of Morans Falls and the Great Dividing Range.
