LONA SPARKLING SILVER MEDALIST

Our 2007 Lona Sparkling Semillon is sparkling even brighter after winning a silver medal at the Australian Small Wine Show recently.

The Lona was awarded silver in the ‘Sparkling Wine (Pink or White)’ category and we're especially proud as it was the first bottling of this new wine style for the vineyard (almost as proud as is it's namesake, Lona O'Reilly, pictured toasting the win with husband Noel).

'Lona' will add the perfect sparkle to your Christmas lunch this year, so make sure you stock up. However, get in quick as due to it's new popularity, supplies are limited!

MEMBER'S SOCIAL DAY

Saturday, 22nd November

Join us for our special member's social day! Bring your friends and family for a relaxing day and enjoy great food, fantastic wine and good company.

Chef has created a mouth-watering Christmas-style buffet including canapes on arrival, roast pork and apple sauce, passionfruit and strawberry pavlova, Christmas pudding and brandy custard. Delicious!

Arrive by 11:30am for 12:30pm lunch in our new Wine Cellar, plus we have planned some fun afternoon activities to keep the kids entertained. Our annual O'Reilly's Staff vs Members cricket match is always great fun, or bring along your togs for a dip in the creek or join in our grape and wine competitions with trophies awarded at the end of the day!

MESSAGE FROM OUR NEW FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

A big hello to all the members of O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards Platinum Club. I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming months since my appointment here in October. Many thanks to Arwen and the team here for making my transition so smooth.

I am currently working closely with our Membership and Events teams to plan an exciting year of special events and members benefits for 2009 and would welcome any comments and suggestions from members.

In the meantime I invite you to join us in just a few weeks time for our members day and I look forward to meeting as many members as possible. We have 'tweaked' the program with a focus on great wine, delicious food and legendary hospitality, plus there will also be some great fun activities for all the family.
