RED'S LAUNCH
Join us for our special member's launch of the new Shane Reserve Shiraz 2005 and Viola Reserve Cabernet 2005, on Saturday 25th August 2007. Be amongst the first to taste our new reds, including the Shane Reserve Shiraz 2005 which has already been awarded a Bronze Medal at the RQAS Mediterranean Wine Challenge 2007. Arrive at 11:30am for a glass of bubbles, with the launch and wine tasting commencing at 12:00pm. Stay on for a delicious picnic or BBQ basket lunch, or enjoy Chef Rob's special Winter Buffet Feast for $38.00 per person for members, $42.00 per person for non-members. GOLD COAST WINE MAKER'S DINNER
Enjoy a gourmet six-course dinner matched with wines from Gold Coast Hinterland wineries and vineyards at the annual Gold Coast Wine Maker's Dinner, held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Saturday, August 25th. Arrive at 6:30pm for pre-dinner drinks and canapes. Tickets: $125.00 per person. Dress: Evening wear. VINEYARD NEWS
SEMILLON AND VERDELHO LAUNCH
Thank you to those members who helped us celebrate the launch of our 2007 vintage Platypus Play Semillon, and new release and naming of the 2007 Vince Reserve Verdelho. Over 150 members and guests joined us for a fantastic day as we cracked the seal on our new whites. Wine makers Davydd Westlake and Luke Fitzgerald extolled the benefits of drinking these great Queensland wines and the huge potential for these varieties to become Queensland's specialities. The day was completed with the renaming of Mick's Liqueur Muscat, previously known as Vince & Pete's Muscat.
