Details are:
Arrive: 5:30am for tea & coffee, pastries and briefing.
Start: 6:00am Harvest commences.
Wear: Hat, gardening gloves and sturdy boots or shoes.
Provided: We will provide you with the snips, buckets, suncream and of course a delicious BBQ breakfast when we're done!

French Lamb Cutlets with Roast Garlic and Carrot Souffle, Orange Brandy and Peppercorn Glaze with Steamed Greens.
"He has done it again, Chef Rob has taken the humble lamb cutlet and turned it into a work of art - Piscasso would be envious. Apart from the French lamb cutlets, tender, juicy, cooked to perfection, the roast garlic and carrot souffle adds a interesting touch of intrigue. A superb summer delight."

NET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
As they say, 'necessity is the mother of invention'! Wine Manager Mark Thurbon and his team created this ingeneous device to cover the vines with nets prior to harvest. Mark also has an interesting story about where he sourced the parts from, so be sure to ask him at the harvest! Congrats to all on a great effort to keep the birds at bay.
I SPY ... A PLATYPUS!
They're back! After going into hiding after last year's floods (or having to swim back from Surfers Paradise!), recent platypus sightings have been scarce. However, I ventured down to the creek to check for myself... and sure enough they are back! They tend to be more active in the mornings and evenings, so come down to the creek and try your luck spotting this unique Australian animal.

A FLOOD OF EMOTION OVER CHAMBOURCIN
It was an emotional day at the Vineyard recently when we took delivery the new 2008 Chambourcin vintage. This lucky crop survived the devastating flood waters one year ago and was hand-picked by our loyal members and staff just after the big clean-up. The Chambourcin has been blended with a new premium variety and we are very excited about its imminent release. Thank you to everyone who helped and we look forward to sharing the fruits of your labour with you soon.
