Made in Methode Champenoise style from the homestead Chambourcin grapes, the Karma has a fantastic deep purple colour that forms a rich pink mousse when poured. SNIPS AND SNAGS HARVEST BBQ

It's time to start sharpening those snips again, as harvest time is just around the corner. As many of you will have noticed, the vines (and grapes) are growing very well this year and we are on track for our annual harvests. Register now for either our Semillon harvest (February) or Chambourcin harvest (March) – or both! Join us for this fantastic family experience, with a fun morning of harvesting grapes, followed by a ‘Bubbles and BBQ’ Breakfast and grape stomping! Our most successful show results yet have seen some of our new vintages and an old favourite receive their first awards.

CELLAR STOCKER PROMOTION

Congratulations to our lucky 'Cellar Stocker' promotion winners - Alan and Shirley Rhodes! Many of you will know them as regulars at our grape harvests and wine launches. The lucky winners received 8 cartons of wine as their prize - what a fantastic Christmas gift!!! (I believe that all offers of assisting to look after the wine have been gently discouraged)

PAST EVENTS

MEMBER'S SOCIAL DAY - December 8th, 2007

Thank you to all our members, their family and friends who joined us for our Members Social Day recently. A fine day after an overnight storm made for a relaxing day under the shade of the Silky Oak trees - there was fine food, fine wine (all the newly awarded wines were out for tasting), and for the energetic attendees (the children) there was fun with a rope swing, volleyball and of course exploring the creek. After lunch, those of us who could still move joined in a fun game of creekside cricket.

Ian and Dot from Coolana Olives also had a tasting selection of their delicious baked olives and olive oils which were very well received by all.

From everyone at the Vineyard, we raise our glasses and wish you a Merry Christmas, and look forward to seeing you out at the Vineyard to help celebrate the festive season. Cheers!
