Two Bedroom Canopy Suites

One of the former O'Reilly family homes has been transformed into two stunning guest units. The two units are simply referred to as 'Vince' and 'Lona' who, as second-generation family members, raised their ten children in the house and contributed enormously to the guesthouse for over 40 years.

Each unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate living room and a two way fireplace. The large decks look out to the west onto the rugged McPherson Ranges and provide uninterrupted views to one of the most magical and mystical sunsets.

With polished timber floors, private spa bath, cedar shutters and handcrafted Queensland Maple furniture, these Canopy suites complement the warmth and character of the building with a stereo in the living area adding to the final touches.

The main bedroom of each boasts a spectacular king-size four poster bed with a private ensuite. The bedroom also has a large double spa with views to the ranges. The second bedroom features a king size ensemble bed that can be transformed into two large single beds if required.

One Bedroom Canopy Suites

Three suites adjoin the luxuriant rainforest canopy and offer twice the space of our standard Mountain View rooms.

A comfortable living area features recycled timber flooring, lounge chairs and audio system. The suites have four large balconies with spectacular views of the rainforest foliage and western mountain ranges.

A spacious bedroom features a king-size four-poster bed, sofa and a warming fireplace. To top it all off, the bathroom has a spa bath with views through a full-length picture window of the breathtaking mountain scenery.

Mountain View Rooms

All Mountain View Rooms boast a private balcony where you can relax and soak up the magnificent views to the McPherson ranges.

Our most popular style of room is the spacious high-set rooms that feature exposed beams, natural timbers, raked ceilings, heaters and a private bathroom. Most rooms contain a queen and single bed, whilst six family rooms also contain additional bedding for two extra guests, and two are wheelchair accessible.

Garden View rooms

These motel style rooms feature red cedar shutters, hand crafted Queensland Maple furniture and timber queen-sized beds. All six rooms have heaters, private ensuites and views of the gardens around the guesthouse.
